“I first met Patrick Valdez my immigration attorney, when I was in Adelanto Detention Center in deportation proceedings . I was picked up by ICE 4 years ago. Having been here since I was 4 and raised in Compton. Yes I’ve gotten in trouble with the law . But never did I know it would come to haunt me years later . With my wife and 3 kids . Depending on me all I can think about is not being there for my kids and wife . My kids were going to grow up without me . But I had a great attorney Patrick . I first met him on my day in immigration court . Right away he started fighting for me . All the judge could do is agree with him. The D.A. on the other hand was stubborn and insisted on fighting to deport me . The judge asked him three times if the D.A. wanted to fight he said yes three times. When others dint believe in me , Patrick believed in me and I believed in him . Now here I am a new American Citizen.
